Our Regular Weekly Schedule

The Englewood Library has a number of recurring weekly events. This includes Café Philo, Chess Club, Knitting & Crocheting, as well as a variety of others. You can expect the programs listed below to be held every week during their designated time frame.

Master Gardeners Plant Clinic
Have a gardening question? Master Gardeners are available to answer questions on gardening, tree/shrub care, lawn care & pests

Wednesday:

Café Philo
Join a discussion on the selected topic
(this program is held every other Wednesday)
  3:00 - 5:00 pm

Thursday:

Tunes for Tots
Children ages 0-5 and their caregivers are invited to drop into our children’s library for an interactive storytime every Thursday. This program incorporates musical play to encourage early learning and group participation skills as well as sign language and gross and fine motor skills for nonstop clapping, stomping, and wiggling fun.

Friday:

Preschool Prep
This program, for children 3-4 years old, is designed to improve listening and group interaction skills while providing practice for the preschool and school environment. Students are expected to attend class once each week from September 2021 – March 2022, excepting holiday breaks. Space is limited and registration is required via the library website or by calling your local branch. Age: Must be at least age 3 by September 1, 2021

Mother Goose on the Loose
Every 1st and 3rd Friday, excluding holidays. It is never too early to start reading and sharing a love of books! Join Miss Ashley on select Fridays for rhymes, songs, stories, tummy time, and baby bounces.

Saturday:

Chalk Art Saturdays
Come one, come all each Saturday to decorate our libraries with colored chalk! Each branch will have a designated chalk area to design, decorate, and create artwork in. Go to the circulation desk to collect your chalk. This program is intended for all ages.
